Not only did we appear in the Schools Prom at the Royal Albert Hall this year, but we were also - as a result of our win at Blackpool - invited to perform 2 concerts at the prestigious "Brass in Concert" contest in Gateshead. We had The Sage main hall all to ourselves on the Saturday when we performed an hour-long concert, then on the Sunday we performed "Cossacks" between the contest & the adjudication. We had a fantastic response from the audiences, and the organisers praised us as being a "beacon" to the world of youth banding!
