We did it - we won! We are now the Butlins National Mineworkers' Youth Champion Band! All that work & the very early start for some of us travelling up on the Sunday morning all the way to Skegness was worth it. We won the Keith Wardle Memorial Trophy, and were very honoured to be the first band to win this glorious brand-new trophy. The trophy takes the form of a huge cup, kindly donated by the family of the late Keith Wardle. It now appears in our "virtual trophy cupboard".
