Each year, Youth Brass 2000 holds a Masterclass for its players. This year we were delighted to have secured the services of Helen Williams (cornets), Lesley Howie (horns), Glyn Williams (Euphoniums & Baritones), John Barber (trombones) and Dave Wycherley (percussion) of the famous Fodens band. Andy Chett of the Desford Colliery Band looked after the basses. Chris Jeans took the full band sessions. The event was held at the fantastic new Leicester Grammar School, and we must thank the school for allowing us the use of their amazing facilities. Here are a few pictures of us at our Masterclass. We all benefited enormously from the assistance of our tutors, and we thank them for giving their time to coach us.
