As we didn’t have a Blackpool Entertainment Contest, we were going to miss our annual trip to Blackpool! Missing our annual trip to Blackpool would have been unthinkable, so we decided to combine this with the British Youth Open contest in Preston. We set off for Blackpool on the Friday evening, then had all day there, mainly rehearsing, but still enough time for some fun! On Sunday it was off to Preston for the contest. Although we played at our very best, we were beaten into second place this time round. Never mind – there’s always next year!
