What a surprise booking this was! The All England Masters International Contest is a huge event in the brass banding world, with many of the country's top bands taking part, as well as bands from Europe. We were honoured to be invited to provide the entertainment between the last contesting band's performance, and the adjudication. What an opportunity to show the adult banding world what a top youth band can do! We rose to the occasion with our Blackpool "Big Band" set, which was a huge contrast to the test piece which had by then been played 21 times! A large audience gave us a huge reception!
