Another firm date in our diary is the French National contest (Youth Section) held in Amboise each year. Not only do we have to perform a concert routine, but this contest also involves marching up a hill past the adjudicators! It is indeed very hard work, and was on this occasion very hot! We were very glad though that we had the marching practice back in Wilbarston!
