Here we are again on our annual pilgrimage to Skegness, to perform in the National Mineworkers' Contest (Youth Section). This year we had the honour of performing in the Friday evening concert. We invited the Irish dancers along who were due to perform with us at Blackpool - they brought the house down! We also had the honour of accompanying none other than Chad Shoopman - a simply amazing trumpet player! In our contest the next day, although we were very happy with our performance, we only managed to come 2nd this time. It was still a great weekend though, given that we were able to enjoy all the attractions that the Butlins Skyline Centre has to offer! Let's see what 2016 brings!
